Addressing the American digital platforms directed at targeting the Israeli occupation of the Palestinian child’s right to life from the point of view of the media elite

This study aimed to monitor the trends of the media elite towards dealing with American digital platforms directed at targeting the Israeli occupation of the lives of Palestinian children, and to identify the extent of the impact of its editorial policy from the point of view of the media elite working in international media outlets. This is done through current readings of the media and political scene, and the study was applied to an available intentional sample of (15 individuals) from the media elite through conducting in-depth interviews. This study is considered a descriptive study, as the descriptive method and the media survey method were used within the framework of analyzing the interviews of the respondents.

There is a discrepancy in the extent to which the media elite relies on American-directed digital platforms to obtain information about the Israeli occupation’s targeting of the lives of Palestinian children.
There is agreement among the study sample in terms of the presence of an influence in the American digital media’s treatment of the Israeli occupation’s targeting of the lives of Palestinian children.
American-directed digital platforms cover the Israeli occupation’s targeting of the lives of Palestinian children, but not in a sufficient way compared to the extent of the Israeli targeting.
There is a weakness in employing the position of international law regarding the Israeli occupation’s targeting of the lives of Palestinian children by American-directed digital media platforms.
