Ramallah – Dr. Walaa Batat, President of the Arab International Center for Research and Strategic Studies, during a meeting held at the headquarters of the Ministry of Labor with Dr. Inas Al-Attari, Minister of Labor , ways of cooperation and strategic partnership in preparation for the organization of the annual Palestine Economic Forum. The meeting came in the context of enhancing cooperation between government institutions and research centers, and discussing mechanisms to support intellectual initiatives that contribute to analyzing current economic challenges and presenting scientific approaches to address them. During the meeting, Dr. It aims to provide a national dialogue platform that brings together decision-makers, representatives of the private sector, economic experts, researchers and academics to discuss the current economic transformations and come up with practical recommendations and proposals that can contribute to the development of economic policies in light of financial crises. The two sides stressed the importance of strengthening the partnership between the government sector, the private sector, and academic and research institutions, in a way that contributes to supporting efforts aimed at developing policies related to the labor market and the national economy, and opening wider horizons for economic dialogue based on knowledge and scientific research. The meeting also addressed the possibility of the Ministry of Labor's participation in supporting the Forum by contributing to its specialized sessions and nominating experts to participate in scientific and advisory committees, thus enhancing the institutional and scientific nature of the Forum and enriching its outputs. The two parties agreed on the importance of continuing coordination during the next phase to discuss possible cooperation mechanisms, thus contributing to the success of the forum and enhancing its role as a platform for national economic dialogue between the various actors in the Palestinian economic scene.
